- Once all screws have been removed, follow steps 1-9 above. Having an extra person on hand is helpful when it comes to sliding or dropping the range into place.
- Make sure the stove is positioned correctly, and screw into place. If the new stove does not match up exactly to the old holes, you will need to drill new holes into your cabinet.
- To determine where to drill the holes, hammer a thin nail through the stove's holes, into the cabinet. Remove the nail and use the nail hole as your drilling guide.
- Screw in the screws, and you're done.

- Remove screws holding unit to cabinets.
- Follow steps 1-5 for installing a slide-in range.
- You're done.

- If your stove is installed incorrectly there is a risk of explosion or release of deadly gas carbon monoxide gas.
Will you be using Natural Gas or Propane (LP)?
Most gas stoves can be adjusted to use either natural gas or propane.
- Some stoves, however, are designed for use with only one particular form of gas. Be sure that you use the correct type of gas.
Most gas stoves are preset to be used with natural gas. There should be a nameplate on the stove which states the factory adjusted setting for your stove.
- If you plan to use propane, be sure that your stove has been adjusted to burn propane.
