The characters in this clever, humorous, and entertaining book in the series The Skinny On are a married couple, Billy and Beth who, much like most couples, buy items on credit and, without realizing it, soon amass a debt of over $20,000 and become frustrated and afraid. The stick figure of Jim Randle appears, as he usually does, and explains such facts as:
And much much more; all in an informal, non-pedantic, concise, humorous, and engaging fashion. Readers finishing this volume, which takes only about an hour to read, will know more about credit cards than they knew when they started reading, and, what is more important, they will learn to be cautious.
