Tundraco's Guide for the Frustrated Writer
Dear Frustrated Writer:
Hello and welcome! It can be said that all writers are frustrated, and if you are not in some way frustrated - you're not a writer! That may seem a bit harsh, but frustration comes with the territory when you're a writer. The causes of a writer's frustration can arise from just about anything from a mild case of writers' block or a bad review to difficulty breaking into a desired market or finding that your chair wobbles when you sit down. The causes are numerous, but the cure is simple - keep writing. This may seem like a difficult task if your frustration stems from writers' block or difficulty making a transition between scenes, but you'll find that if you keep writing, you'll write your way out of whatever is frustrating you.
The main purpose of this site is to let you know that you're not alone, and that there is nothing wrong with being frustrated, as long as it does not become habitual. The trick is to learn to deal with both the mundane, and not so mundane, frustrations that face writers on a daily basis. Within the pages of this site you'll find tips and tricks for overcoming writers' block, articles on writing, a selection of short stories from Tales From the Bottom Drawer, links and information on where to find writers' guidelines, and much more.
This site is intended for both fiction and nonfiction writers, and writers in all genres and fields. We hope that you'll find the information that you are looking for, and if not, don't get frustrated, just drop us a line at info@tundraco.com, and we'll see if we can't hunt it down for you.
